About our Kiwanis club

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis clubs around the world provide community service and promote responsibilities of citizenship, community, and leadership with a focus on kids and future generations.  The Kiwanis motto is “Serving the Children of the world.”

The Kiwanis Club of Belden Village was chartered in September 1973 and is a member of Kiwanis International and the Ohio District of Kiwanis.  Our motto is “Serving the communities of Jackson, Plain, North Canton and beyond.”

Belden Village Kiwanis has sponsored and directed many different service projects over the years.  Our focus has been on literacy, education, and meeting the needs of children in our local community.  We partner with other community organizations like Pathway Caring for Children, Stark Parks, Rahab Ministries, and many more. We also sponsor and support local Key Clubs in Jackson, GlenOak, and Fairless High Schools and partner with Canton Kiwanis to sponsor the Aktion Club of Stark County.  Belden Village Kiwanis has also established, currently funds, and supports several different scholarship opportunities.
