Tailgate provides some 5 tons of food
A valiant team effort produced a 10,386 pound bounty during Belden Village Kiwanis Tailgate Against Hunger drive Sept. 29 at the Jackson High School / GlenOak High School football clash.
Twenty-six crew members from Jackson and GlenOak Key Clubs, Stark County Hunger Task Force and Kiwanians collected food and donations including $500 from our club for SCHTF as fans streamed into the game.
This brings the total so far from the 15 year run of Tailgate to nearly 68 tons of food.
